The first batch of correspondents for The Pinoy News Channel (TPNC) has officially completed the Journalism 101 Training Program, receiving Certificates of Completion in a ceremony that highlights the network’s commitment to nurturing responsible and ethical Filipino journalists.
The comprehensive training covered key areas of journalism, including news writing, media ethics, field reporting, interviewing techniques, and multimedia storytelling. Through this initiative, TPNC aims to equip aspiring correspondents with the skills and principles needed to uphold integrity, accuracy, and fairness in every report.
With their training complete, the new correspondents are now set to begin news coverage across various regions in the UAE—bringing local, community-driven stories to the national stage.
“This milestone marks the beginning of a new generation of storytellers who will help shape the way we inform, inspire, and empower our audience,” said Rowen Soldevilla, CEO and Founder of TPNC. “Our correspondents are not only trained to report the news but to represent the Filipino voice with integrity and compassion.”
As TPNC continues to expand its coverage, the network remains committed to investing in the continuous growth and mentorship of its correspondents—ensuring every story told reflects truth, balance, and the realities that matter most to Filipinos.
The first batch of correspondents now stands ready to fulfill TPNC’s mission: to deliver timely, truthful, and transformative news that connects and empowers the Filipino community across the globe.
