Bangkok, Thailand — The Gilas Pilipinas Women once again proved their supremacy in Southeast Asian basketball, successfully defending their SEA Games title with a hard-earned 73–70 victory over host Thailand at a packed Nimibutr Stadium.

Playing in front of a loud and partisan home crowd, the Filipinas displayed composure, resilience, and championship grit—answering every Thai surge with timely baskets and disciplined defense.
