First Lady Liza Marcos Meets Dubai Chambers During UAE Visit

First Lady Liza Marcos is on a Working Visit to the UAE from 10 to 13 January 2026, aiming to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and people-to-people ties between the Philippines and the UAE.

On 11 January, she met with the Dubai Chambers of Commerce in Dubai to discuss ways to enhance trade, investment, and entrepreneurship. The meeting focused on supporting small and medium enterprises, empowering women and youth in business, and promoting greater collaboration between the private sectors of both countries.

The discussions also highlighted Dubai’s role as a global business hub and a gateway for Filipino enterprises seeking access to international markets. The First Lady emphasized the importance of strong institutional partnerships in advancing economic diplomacy and creating more opportunities for Filipino professionals, entrepreneurs, and overseas workers in the UAE.
