DMW officials visited hospitalized OFWs in Jeddah, reaffirming government support and thanking medical staff for their care.

Officials from the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) visited Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) currently receiving medical care at King Fahd Hospital in Jeddah, reaffirming the Philippine government’s commitment to their welfare and recovery.

The delegation was led by Migrant Workers Undersecretary Bernard P. Olalia, together with Labor Attaché Fidel A. Macauyag and Dr. Joseph Anthony D. Lachica of PhilHealth. During the visit, the officials personally checked on the condition of the OFW patients and conveyed well-wishes, assuring them of continued assistance while they undergo treatment.

The DMW also expressed its deep appreciation to King Fahd Hospital, commending its medical staff for their dedication, compassion, and consistent care for Filipino workers during challenging circumstances.

The visit underscores the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure that OFWs abroad receive timely medical support, protection, and assistance whenever needed.
