Indonesian Community Shines at Shukran Festival Finale in Sahara Centre

Dubai, UAE — The Indonesian community made a memorable mark at the grand finale of the Shukran Festival on December 20, 2025, held at Sahara Centre, demonstrating unity, culture, and heartfelt support for a celebration centered on gratitude and community spirit.

Led by H.E. Denny Lesmana, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Dubai, the Indonesian community’s participation highlighted the richness and diversity of Indonesian heritage, captivating attendees from diverse backgrounds.

The program featured a vibrant Balinese cultural dance, showcasing Indonesia’s deep artistic traditions, alongside an impressive Pencak Silat performance, the country’s traditional martial art known for its discipline, grace, and strength. These were complemented by performances from various Indonesian talents, reflecting the creativity and passion within the community.

A standout moment of the evening was a special band performance by H.E. Denny Lesmana and his children. The Consul General took the stage not just as a diplomat but as a musician and father, creating a heartfelt and inspiring connection with the audience.
