Fatima Al Awadhi Becomes Youngest Arab Woman to Summit Mount Vinson

History has been written on the world’s coldest continent as Emirati mountaineer Fatima Abdulrahman Al Awadhi successfully summited Mount Vinson, the highest peak in Antarctica.

At only 18 years old, Al Awadhi has become the youngest climber and the first Arab woman to reach the summit, marking a major milestone not only for herself but also for the United Arab Emirates and the Arab world. Mount Vinson is known as one of the most challenging climbs globally due to its extreme weather conditions, isolation, and subzero temperatures.
