50 OFWs Repatriated from Jeddah and Kuwait with OWWA Assistance

Fifty OFWs from Jeddah and Kuwait safely return to the Philippines under the government’s ongoing repatriation program with OWWA support.

A total of 50 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from Jeddah and Kuwait have safely returned to the Philippines today as part of the government’s ongoing repatriation program.
Twenty-two (22) OFWs from Jeddah arrived on flight SV870, while twenty-eight (28) from Kuwait were aboard flight WY843, both landing at NAIA Terminal 1.
They were immediately welcomed and assisted by representatives from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), in coordination with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and the MIAA Medical Team, ensuring their health, safety, and immediate needs upon arrival.
As part of standard OWWA support, the repatriated OFWs received immigration assistance, food packs, financial aid, transport support, and temporary accommodation while arrangements were made for their return to their respective provinces.
OWWA emphasized its continued commitment to providing timely and compassionate support to OFWs, particularly during their return and reintegration in the Philippines.
