Spotify’s 2025 data reveals BTS as the world’s most-streamed K-pop artist, while Rosé and Bruno Mars’ viral hit “APT.” dominates as the year’s top K-pop song.
Spotify has released its 2025 global K-pop streaming rankings, highlighting the continued influence of K-pop artists worldwide—led once again by BTS, who secured the platform’s most-streamed K-pop artist spot for the second consecutive year.
The group’s dominance remains steadfast despite the members focusing on individual activities. Jungkook, the youngest member, reached No. 8 on the global list, while fellow members Jimin (No. 11), Jin (No. 13), and J-Hope (No. 18) also landed within the Top 20, underscoring the group’s sustained individual impact.
Meanwhile, the year’s most-streamed K-pop song went to the viral hit “APT.” by BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars, a track that has gained massive global traction and recently earned Song of the Year at the MAMA Awards. The collaboration’s success reflects the continued crossover of K-pop with mainstream pop audiences.
BLACKPINK also delivered a strong performance, ranking No. 7 as a group, with Lisa securing No. 14 as a solo act.
In an unexpected development, fictional K-pop groups from the animated film KPop Demon Hunters made their debut in the rankings. HUNTR/X landed at No. 5, while their in-film rivals Saja Boys claimed No. 20, demonstrating the growing impact of music-driven animation in global pop culture.
HYBE’s multinational girl group KATSEYE also entered the chart impressively at No. 10, following a surge in international streaming.
