Filipino Expats in UAE Can Renew PHilippine Driver’s License Online

Overseas Filipino workers in the UAE can now renew their Philippine driver’s licenses online, thanks to expanded digital services from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

The online renewal system allows applicants to complete forms, pay fees, and schedule appointments entirely online, removing the need to return to the Philippines or visit LTO offices in person. This ensures a convenient, secure, and efficient process for Filipino expats maintaining valid licenses while working abroad.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize government services, improve digital accessibility, and empower overseas workers. By adopting online solutions, the LTO and DICT are helping Filipinos abroad save time, reduce travel, and access essential services more easily.
