The Bayanihan Council brought Filipino holiday traditions to life in Abu Dhabi through its festive “Pasko sa Nayon” community celebration.
The Bayanihan Council successfully staged “Pasko sa Nayon” in Abu Dhabi, bringing together members of the Filipino community for a vibrant celebration of Filipino Christmas traditions, culture, and unity.
The event transformed the venue into a festive Filipino village, featuring cultural performances, holiday music, community activities, and familiar Christmas elements that reminded attendees of celebrations back home. Families, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and community leaders gathered to mark the season in an atmosphere filled with warmth and bayanihan spirit.
Organizers said the event aimed to strengthen community ties and preserve Filipino cultural traditions among Filipinos living in the UAE, especially during the holiday season when many are away from their families.
