A talented 18-year-old Filipino artist, Lyle Junaid V. Tomawis, is touching hearts at FLAYVA Food Hall in Al Ghurair Centre, where his hand-painted bayong bags and wooden artworks are on display from January 5 to 24. Diagnosed with autism at a young age, Lyle expresses himself through art, turning emotion and imagination into colorful, meaningful creations.

His works are part of a month-long creative showcase featuring local artists and celebrating inclusivity and diversity. Shared by autism advocate Doctor Ciela Mae Tomawis (@autismmom_by_doccee on instagram), the exhibit highlights how art can open doors for autistic individuals to be seen, heard, and appreciated.

Beyond the artwork, visitors can enjoy interactive workshops, book activities, and community markets, making the experience engaging and family-friendly. The exhibit also honors the late Filipino artist Jeanelyn “Ji” Jarder, recognizing her lasting contribution to the creative community.

The public is warmly invited to visit the exhibit at FLAYVA Food Hall, Al Ghurair Centre, and experience the inspiring stories behind the artworks while supporting inclusive creativity.
