04 January 2026

Raul Rocha addressed ownership claims involving Miss Universe, as the organization reaffirmed its leadership and warned against misinformation.

Miss Universe co-owner Raul Rocha has issued a strong response amid renewed controversy over the ownership of the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), pushing back against statements he described as misleading and unfounded.

In a social media post shared on January 3, Rocha expressed frustration over claims circulating about control of the organization. While no individual was directly named, his remarks appeared to address ongoing assertions linked to Chavit Singson and his camp, dismissing them as unrealistic and without legal basis. Rocha warned that legal action would be taken to stop what he described as false narratives surrounding the pageant’s leadership.

Amid the public exchange, the Miss Universe Organization released a formal clarification, reaffirming that ownership remains with Raul Rocha and Anne Jakrajutatip. The organization stated that it is actively consulting legal advisers to address the spread of misinformation and prevent unauthorized or misleading claims.

MUO emphasized its commitment to protecting its credibility, partners, and audience, urging the public to rely only on official announcements published through its verified channels. According to the organization, any updates regarding ownership or leadership are communicated exclusively via its official platforms.

Despite the clarification, the situation continues to draw attention as separate legal matters involving key figures connected to the organization remain under public scrutiny. As proceedings develop, the Miss Universe Organization maintains that it will take appropriate steps to safeguard its operations and reputation.
