PNP-CIDG opens hotline to collect tips for the immediate arrest of Charlie “Atong” Ang, warning against fake informants and obstruction of justice.


The Philippine National Police – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) has launched a hotline to assist in the prompt arrest of businessman Charlie “Atong” Ang. The initiative aims to encourage the public to provide any information that may help authorities locate and apprehend the subject.

The PNP-CIDG assured that all tips received will undergo proper verification and will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.

Authorities also issued a strong warning against fake informants or any individuals or security agencies offering protection to the gaming tycoon. The PNP-CIDG stated that anyone found obstructing the law will face criminal charges.

The agency emphasized its commitment to enforcing the law and holding violators accountable, while urging the public to cooperate fully to ensure a swift and orderly pursuit of justice.
